Real Wedding Submission Guidelines

Hello!

Thank you for sharing your wedding with The Boston Bride! We love our real wedding features. Getting to see your wedding pictures lets us feel like a part of your big day! The more information we have on your special day the more personal a feature we can create. Please complete the form below and if your submission is approved, we will email you.

Tips to getting your wedding approved….

• Submit 60-160 high-resolution professional images with no watermarks
• Images must be a minimum of 900 pixels
• Include detail shots
• Limited black and white photos
• Properly credit every vendor involved

If your wedding is chosen as a real wedding feature, we are going to send you over a info sheet that looks a lot like this:

The Boston Bride – Real Wedding Submission

Pictures: We ask that you provide a minimum of 50 photos and a maximum of 160 pictures giving us room to choose. We are looking for pictures that together tell the story of your wedding day, from start to finish. We want the typical shots of the couple, bridal party etc., as well as detail shots of the invitations, centerpieces, table arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, favors, etc., and some fun ones; the flower girl asleep on her chair, your pet in the wedding, dancing, etc.. The fun little details that make your wedding special also make your wedding interesting to readers. You can submit pictures through your photographers file transfer link (pixel, pixset, etc…) a Dropbox link, Google Drive Link, or another high-file size transfer option.  Photos must be at least 900 pixels wide to be include. Without a high resolution files, we cannot create a blog post.

Vendors: Please provide the name and website of every vendor involved. There is a list of the most common vendor types below. In addition, please include the name and website any vendors you used that were not included in our list.

About You: We want to know about you and your spouse! Please provide the first and last name of you and your spouse, your hometowns, and where you currently live. Give us a paragraph or two on how you met and fell in love, where you and your spouse are from, why you choose Newport, and why you choose your venue. If there are wedding details that have special meaning, let us know. The more personal information we get, the more personal a narrative we can create!
