Samantha and Paul’s romantic vintage wedding captured by Analog Wedding was a Boston dream. Incorporating crisp fall colors and the couples love of vintage detailing, the autumn wedding was everything the couple had hoped for, and more. In the Wellesley College tradition, after a casual water side stroll 3 times around the beautiful Lake Waban, Paul knelt down and proposed. Of course, Samantha said, “YES!”
When planning their wedding, the couple intentionally choose details that they lovingly called, “slightly less than perfect.” Their venue, The Goethe Institut, is historic and has all it’s original details giving it a refined elegance. Samantha wore an original handmade and embroidered wedding gown from the 1940s thrifted from a flea market for a bargain. The bride summarized the big day best-
“Overall I think the biggest and most important idea I followed for the wedding was that imperfections are perfect. I’ve been to so many big fancy ballroom weddings, and they don’t move me the way the little things do. Learn to celebrate the little things about your love, because that is what will sustain it for a lifetime.”
