There’s a lot to like about Stephanie & Dave – they’re quirky, loving, passionate, and adore their cat Charlotte. Stephanie almost had to cancel their second date because the cat had an asthma attack. Luckily, Dave and the cat have the same inhaler, so Dave saved the day. Between meals shared at their favorite Cambridge spot, Citygirl, to supporting each other during marathons and Brazilian jiu-jitsu matches, and “torturing the cat Charlotte with unwanted affection,” this pair has made Cambridge their loving home. It was only natural that they get married in the place so dear to their hearts.
Stephanie & Dave got ready together in Inman Square, with Steph buttoning his jacket while gushing over how great he looked. They pulled off an impromptu front yard first look, then called a parade of Ubers to shuttle everyone off to Harvard Yard. No photo shoot would be complete without a pit stop for tea at Tatte Bakery, a Boston favorite. One more shocked Uber driver later, and everyone was back dancing around Inman Square.
Stephanie’s best friend officiated the ceremony, and with a celebratory kiss, the two were officially husband and wife. A Lebanese belly dancer arrived to get the party started, and the crowd went wild. The night continued on with hilarious speeches, a special birthday cake for the bride (yes, it was her bday), and tons of Lebanese dancing. We love this beautiful reminder that wedding’s don’t have to have 300 people or the fanciest linens and crystal. If you want to go casual, do it! If you have a favorite restaurant, host the wedding there! Make your big day, ALL your own!
