Every year Pantone comes out with a color of the year. For 2018 a soft and lovely lavender was the chosen hue. Using this timely tone, a team of talented designers crafted a purple wedding dream!
The Commons 1854, a five-star boutique wedding and special events venue located north of Boston in historic Topsfield, MA, made for the perfect backdrop for this classic spring shoot by Jessica K Feiden. The bride was adorned with an elegant gown from the Blush by Hayley Paige along with stunning florals by Karla Cassidy Designs. Our groom was sporting a custom suit from Hive & Colony, a brick-and-mortar store that combines fashion and technology to make premium, tailor-made suits, outfitting Boston’s most fashionable grooms.
All of the stationery by JKF Design Co., calligraphy by McBride Ink, confections from Mayflour Confections and other beautiful details helped tie in our lavender theme. While purple is often not a popular color for weddings, these soft tones are subtle which allows for a spring bride to stay on trend while still having a light and airy wedding.
